KrayPlates founder and head chef Krayla Brice is passionate about incredible food with soul.
After finishing culinary school and working as a private chef, Brice quickly learned that she had something people wanted: a gift for not just making incredible, authentic Haitian and Caribbean cuisine, but the ability to put island culture on the menu too.
In 2018, Brice launched KrayPlates with the tools she had: her phone and her grandmother’s kitchen, splashing the day’s specials (like deeply flavorful Haitian Spaghetti) across her social media accounts on a first-come first-served basis.
Those early dishes sold out – fast –catapulting KrayPlates to local fame for flavorful, impromptu dishes ready for pick up before the day’s limit ran out.
KrayPlates has since expanded and now operates a “virtual kitchen” from Gourmet Fish in Hyde Park.
Order ahead, select your pickup time, and enjoy.
“When you visit KrayPlates, you get the real Boston.”
KrayPlates is a favorite soul food spot for locals, out-of-towners, and even celebrities…time your visit right, and you may bump into a Celtics or Patriots player sneaking out with a to-go bag in hand.
What’s better than some bomb juice to go with your fire plate?
Our lemonade is how we express our love and appreciation, and that’s why our hand-squeezed lemonade comes with every KrayPlate. Enjoy it as is or with your adult drink of choice (iykyk).
– Love Kray!
